Max received a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. In this time, he performed undergraduate research synthesizing functionally diverse triazoles under Dr. Allen Schoffstall. Following this, Max worked at Chromatic Technologies Inc. under Dr. Ruizheng Wang developing theranostics for cancer treatment. His current work in the Olson lab focuses on the study of ergoline alkaloid functionalization and stereocenter manipulation.
