Guoliang Zhang

Graduate Student

Guoliang received his B.S. in chemistry from Jilin University, China, and earned his M.S from Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC), China.  His research experience includes both the synthesis of natural products and the development of related methodologies.  Currently, Guoliang is working on the total synthesis of the natural product ibogaine, a psychoactive indole alkaloid with powerful anti-addictive properties.
