David Favela
Graduate Student David Favela received his B.S. in Biochemistry from New Mexico State University. While there, he worked in Professor Michael Johnson’s lab studying the properties of metals encapsulated in reverse micelles. In 2014 he transitioned from inorganic chemistry to synthetic organic chemistry research working under Professor Amudhu Gopalan. He joined Professor David E. Olson’s research group at the University of California, Davis in 2018, and has been focusing on biomimetic strategies for the synthesis of monoterpene indole alkaloids. |
