Andy Basargin
Graduate Student Andy received his B.S. in biochemistry from Central Washington University (CWU). While there, he worked in the lab of Dr. Timothy Beng on structure-activity relationship studies related to antiparasitic macrocycles. In the Olson lab, Andy’s research focuses on the synthesis of conformationally restricted analogs of DMT to understand which conformations give rise to its biological properties. In his spare time, he is always on the hunt for the next great brewery adventure. |
